Job Description
As a Data warehouse/Data Modeler, you will be responsible for designing and developing Relational and Dimensional data models that align with our organization's data strategy and business requirements.
Required Knowledge:
*Bachelor's degree in MIS, Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent
*Database manipulation software and/or software application development (ex. .NET, SQL, Python, DB2, Teradata, Azure Synapse etc.)
*Database Management Systems (SQL Server, Azure, Oracle, Teradata, DB2)
*Experience with Data Modeling techniques and tools, such as Erwin or Embarcadero
*13+ years of related IT work experience
*1-2 years of related Data Modeling work experience
*Strong knowledge of Azure Data platform its features, capabilities and the best use of implementing them
*Experience working with Data Warehouses, Data Marts, etc.
Preferred Knowledge:
Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
Cloud, database, or project management certification or designation
Insurance coverages and rating schemes and insurance products
Knowledge of P&C Insurance business
Cloud-based technologies ex.Azure (DevOps, Data Studio, etc.)
Artificial intelligence/machine learning
Prior Knowledge of Guidewire Policy, Billing, claim, Data Hub & Info Cen
Strong knowledge in Microsoft Azure cloud stack such as SQL PaaS Synapse Analytics MPP Data Factory ADF
